The president of the world football governing body FIFA, Gianni Infantino has congratulated Amaju Pinnick on his re-election as the president of the Nigeria Football Federation.

In a letter addressed to the NFF and copied to the confederation of African football, Infantino felicitated with pinnick and the other executive members who were elected and wished them the best of luck in the challenges ahead.

In a related development the football club owners association of Nigeria have also congratulated the delta state-born football administrator and other members elected at the 2018 elective congress of the football body held on Thursday in Katsina state, North West Nigeria.

In the statement issued by the association and jointly signed by the chairman Isaac Danladi and the executive secretary alloy Chukwuemeka, they enjoined the re- elected leadership to strive harder to consolidate on its previous achievements.

They however urged the board to double its effort in order to improve other areas to ensure rapid development and growth of Nigeria football.

The association commended the peaceful conduct of the election, the maturity shown by all the contestants, the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited by the losers.
