Nigeria’s opposition party PDP has concluded the screening of governorship aspirant’s in the north east states as it gears up for the primaries scheduled to hold in a few days’ time.

The governorship aspirants say they are confident of capturing more states in the north east region of the country.

A large gathering of aspirants at the PDP zonal office in Bauchi, a time to screen governorship aspirants from Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa, Taraba, Yobe and Borno states.

The process was a lengthy one as aspirants completed the forms presented their credentials and went for screening.

The aspirants seemed confident of victory for the party in the north east during general elections.

They however raised their concerns over the rising cases of vote buying in the electoral process.
